Ghost Town: The Photography Club

17 07 2010

This was a great adventure! Whistler’s Ghost Town, just located on the other side of Green Lake, was a fabulous spot for The Photography Club to shoot at. With all the rusted cans, broken glass and caved in houses we spent the day hiking around looking through history. Everyone seemed to be enjoying this old run down town, it’s not often you get to see and explore them. Here are few snaps from our journey. Enjoy xo

The Whistler Photography Club!

7 06 2010

So, I had this idea… what if there was a Whistler Photography Club?! There isn’t anything like it (that I know of) so I started spreading the word. The feedback was nothing but positivity and it really got me excited.
We had our first shoot this morning down in Function Junction at the train wreck. This is such an amazing site because it has a little bit of an urban feel while being tucked away into the forest.

To get there we walked along the tracks…

It was great because most of the group had never visited this site so we were pumped to do some exploring! I’m in the process of putting together a blog for the WPC so I will keep you updated.
Here are a few shots that I took during our first adventure! Enjoy xo
